Junior Achievement of Rhode Island Board of Director’s Elects Bob D’Amico as Corporate Secretary

Robert D’Amico, Founding Partner at D’Amico Burchfield, LLP, has been elected by the Junior Achievement Board of Director’s to serve as Corporate Secretary on the 2011 Executive Committee for the organization. Bob is an active program volunteer and fund-raiser for the Junior Achievement organization. He participates each year as a teacher for JA’s middle school programs and is one of the top fundraisers for JA’s largest community event, the Achieve-A-Bowl.

As the Corporate Secretary, Bob is responsible for ensuring that accurate and sufficient documentation exists to meet legal requirements, and to enable authorized persons to determine when, how, and by whom the board's business was conducted on behalf of the organization.

JA is the Rhode Island’s oldest and largest organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, Junior Achievement provides in-school and after-school programs for students which focus on three key content areas: work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
