Jimmy Burchfield, Jr. Elected to Junior Achievement Board of Directors

Jimmy Burchfield, Jr, founding partner at D’Amico Burchfield, LLP, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Rhode Island.

“I am honored that I was selected to serve on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Rhode Island," said Burchfield. "JA’s programs provide young people with the building blocks needed to be successful in the 21st century. I am excited to be mentoring young people and will work diligently to ensure that JA continues to grow and reach more students in Rhode Island.”

Jimmy has been actively involved with Junior Achievement for the last year mentoring an 8th grade class at Samuel Bridgham Middle School in Providence. Through his fund-raising efforts, he has personally raised over $6,000 for JA.

Junior Achievement is the state's largest organization dedicated to educating and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides in-school and after-school programs for students which focus on three key content areas: work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
